Bay Area Rock Climbing - Rock Climbing Lessons and Guided Trips

Whether you are a first time climber, an advanced climber or anywhere in between, when you climb with Castle Rock Climbing School and Guide Service you will experience, learn and feel the adventure that is Rock Climbing in the Bay area.

We have climbing trips and classes offered in several areas in the Bay Area.
Cragmont and Remilard Parks are in the Berkeley Hills. With a variety of top rope routes and boulder problems, from face climbing to cracks, they are excellent locations for beginner to intermediate climbers to have fun and learn about climbing outdoors. Located within a quarter-mile of one another, these parks also feature picnic areas, grassy fields, and great views of the Bay Area.

Castle Rock State Park and Indian Rock (Sanborn-Skyline County Park) are located in the majestic forest of the Santa Cruz/Los Gatos Mountains. This area provides views overlooking  San Jose, Mountain View, Fremont and all the way south to Monterey Bay.

Pinnacles National Park is located south of Hollister, in the central valley. This area is known as natural geological wonder. The park is half of a cinder cone volcano which split off via movement of the Pacific and North American Plates. The other half is in LA county.
